The number of people looking for van insurance for Fiat models may be on the rise, if new figures are anything to go by.

According to the manufacturer, its used vehicles proved particularly popular at a BCA Measham auction last week.

The group stated models including the Doblo, Ducato, Cargo, Maxi, Fiorino Cargo, Scudo and Ducato 33 all caused something of a bidding war.

On average, the vans outperformed their Cap valuations by some 24.4 per cent.

Fiat's used vehicle remarketing manager, Simon Wheeler, claimed a growing number of businesses are starting to choose the manufacturer's models.

He stated: "With residual value performance improving almost weekly right now, linked to some of the best products in the industry, they can rest assured they are making the right decision."

Meanwhile, people who have recently bought Fiat models may find they can keep running costs down by purchasing cheap van insurance online.
