26 March 2009 Kia customers may want to be quick

Prices on Kia Soul and Magentis will stay the same Female motorists who have been looking into car insurance policies because they are considering buying a new Kia may want to be quick, after a recent announcement from the company.

The manufacturer has revealed prices for the majority of its models will be going up from April 1st.

It stated most vehicles would be three per cent more expensive next month, although it pointed out buyers would not have to shell out any extra for the recently released Soul or Magentis.

The group explained it had no choice but to put up its prices as a result of the weak pound.

Managing director Paul Philpott said the company had resisted passing on rising costs to its customers for as long as possible and added even now it was still offering excellent value for money.

"The increase we are making now will be kept to an absolute minimum and still maintains Kia's competitive position in the market," he stated.

Women who do buy a Kia model after the end of March may find they can offset the increased costs by searching for cheap car insurance.
