The capacity of Peugeot's Bipper vans has enabled a company to transport everything it needs.

According to Devon-based firm Kevin Cooper Motor Factors, the models look more compact on the outside, however their cubic space allows for big loads to be carried.

Pat Newport, company accountant, stated the largest component carried by the organisation's fleet is an exhaust system for a full-size panel van.

He added this fits in the Bipper, using its Multi Flex front seat "which folds flat to the floor and enables us to slide long loads up as far as the dashboard".

Commenting the vans have generated "a great deal of positive feedback" from drivers, project manager of the organisation Steve Gadsby attributed the reviews to the vehicle's light controls and driving position.

Van insurance policy holders may like to note the vehicle has a load volume of 2.8 cubic metres and a flat floor 1.52 metres in length.

Earlier this month, the winners of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' Awards of Excellence 2009 were revealed.

Among the prize winners were Southern Motor Group - based in Tonbridge, Kent - which came first in the lifestyle category.
