Cash-strapped van insurance customers who desperately need to replace their current model may find they can bag a bargain from Vauxhall after Christmas.

The manufacturer has announced - from December 27th through to January 31st - it is offering savings of up to £7,800 across its entire light commercial vehicle range.

It stated: "There really has never been a better time to buy a new van."

The biggest reduction - of £7,800 - is available on the Movano, while buyers opting for the Vivaro can save £4,100 and those who choose a Corsavan will make a saving of up to £3,000.

In addition to this, drivers who are interested in the Combo or the Astravan could potentially save £3,500.

Vauxhall stated: "Once January has passed, the deals will be gone as well, so customers are advised to act quickly if they want to take ad-van-tage."

In other news, the Corsavan was recently named Small Van of the Year 2008 by What Van?.
