Motoring pundit Jeremy Clarkson has reviewed the Alfa Romea Brera, describing it as "a looker".

Writing in his weekly column in the Times, Clarkson suggested the Brera is not as visually appealing as other Alfas, but still "makes you have to bite the back of your hand to stop you crying out".

However, he went on to say the ride was uncomfortable and steering can get drivers into "a muddle" when travelling at speed.

Furthermore, the car insurance customers may be interested to know the Brera was deemed very slow ? taking seven seconds to go from zero to 62mph.

Clarkson finally concluded it was rather like "a very beautiful but bonkers girlfriend" and gave it two out of a possible five stars.
