People who expect to be updating their comprehensive car insurance after investing in one of Renault's new coupes may be interested to hear the models made their UK debut in London last night.

Both the New Megane and Laguna coupes were on display at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington during the French Chamber of Commerce Business Club cocktail party.

The vehicles were on view alongside the New Megane Hatch and a C-Type - one of the oldest models from the manufacturer's British collection.

Commenting on the coupes, managing director Roland Bouchara said Renault had always been known for its innovation and stylish designs.

He added: "These stunning new cars herald a new era of chic, French automotive beauty."

Meanwhile, it was announced earlier this week that video game enthusiasts would be able to get a sneak preview of the New Megane Coupe as it is appearing in Need For Speed Undercover.
