Citroen has pointed out - in practical terms - one tank of fuel could take the car from Aberdeen to Plymouth - a journey which covers 633 miles.

Furthermore, the manufacturer stated the model qualifies for low-cost group one car insurance.

Interested parties can purchase the model for just over £8,500.

The recent marathon saw the car cover more than 400 miles across the Midlands and through Wales.

A variety of roads were incorporated into the journey - from motorways to winding country lanes.

Meanwhile, Citroen recently revealed it had started looking into the feasibility of creating its most environmentally-friendly vehicle based on the C-Cactus concept.
