01 October 2008 Testing the size of Toyota's iQ
Toyota has made what could be seen as some pretty big claims about its new iQ vehicle as it was launched in recent days.It arrived at the Royal College of Art this week as part of the London Design Festival 2008 and the manufacturer states that despite measuring less than three metres in height, it has more interior space than the Yaris and is capable of carrying four people.
This is due to "six space-saving, interlinked engineering innovations that represent a breakthrough in Toyota's vehicle development", according to the site.
In order to see if these claims were true, the vehicle review site enlisted members of the London Capital Paws and some of their fans.
They managed to get all four of the players and two supporters into the vehicle.
According to the manufacturer, the iQ serves as a "template for excellence" when it comes to vehicle design.
