08 August 2008 New National Cheaper Motoring Campaign launched
A scheme designed to make drivers aware of how much they can save on the road has been launched by an automobile manufacturer.Daihatsu is attempting to get more people driving its cars with the National Cheaper Motoring Campaign, stating that they provide good value in terms of reliability and fuel economy.
Earlier this year the company picked up a top three position in the 2008 Which? magazine car awards for being a reliable manufacturer - something which could result in drivers taking out fewer car insurance policies.
And with the credit crunch currently dictating people's finance, Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors managing director Paul Tunnicliffe remarked that its cars are "perfectly tuned" to weather the storm.
"This latest campaign should help continue our growth where we expect to enjoy both repeat business from satisfied customers and new sales to those seeking excellent value for money," he said.
Focusing primarily on the development of smaller cars, Daihatsu Motor Company was launched in 1907.
