01 August 2008 BIMS Sunday sport treat
Visitors to the British International Motor Show (BIMS) this Sunday will be able to get a good look at some of the biggest automobiles in motor sport. Those in attendance need not worry about missing the afternoon's Hungarian Grand Prix, as it will be shown on a giant screen as part of a presentation introduced by Murray Walker OBE.
Vehicles present include models from Formula 1, as well as touring cars and automobiles used in the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
But motorists attending the show should remember not to emulate their racing heroes during the trip home, as they may end up invalidating their car insurance policies.
"As well as virtual racing simulators and a number of celebrated pedigree sports cars, there will be live coverage of the Hungarian Grand Prix, televised on a 20-square metre screen, courtesy of Philips," event organisers commented.
The BIMS comes to an end on Sunday August 3rd.
