09 April 2008 Most dangerous Norfolk junctions revealed
Police in Norfolk have pointed out the most dangerous junctions in the region, a local news source has reported.According to the Norwich Evening News, 20 junctions can be considered high-risk including Queens Road and Hall Road and Reepham Road and Drayton Lane.
It may be that those who act inconsiderately on these highways chance an accident as well as invalidating their car insurance policies.
Michael Edney, casualty reduction officer for the Norfolk constabulary, remarked that it only takes a minute to cause a collision.
"What causes a lot of the accidents though is a momentary lapse in concentration. It could be anything like changing the radio station, but in that two or three seconds that's when it happens," he said.
This comes following a campaign from Norfolk City Council which looked to crack down on drivers who park inconsiderately close to schools in the region.
