26 March 2008 Top road gripes revealed in study
Motorists in the UK have identified their top gripes when travelling on the road in a new survey.According to research from ITV Local reported by Crash.net, people towing caravans were said to be the most annoying travellers.
Similarly, those who use their mobile phones when driving were also held up as particularly irksome.
This comes despite Department for Transport legislation stating that those who are caught out on devices can be subjected to a fine and penalty points, while they may also suffer from an increase in car insurance policy prices if firms consider them a road threat.
Meanwhile, a report from the Royal Automobile Club Foundation released last week found that most drivers consider themselves good road users.
Indeed, the study found that some 85 per cent of those using the road think of themselves as a considerate driver, at least.
