19 March 2008 Valuable reminder for King's Lynn drivers
Motorists in King's Lynn have been told to ensure they do not leave their vehicles prone to attack from opportunistic criminals, it has been reported.Lynn News has stated that a spate of incidents have occurred throughout the region over the last week, including the theft of a Kenwood stereo system from a black Rover saloon on Burkitt Street.
The publication added that a Renault Laguna was targeted by thieves on Wednesday March 12th, as was a Vauxhall Vectra on Friday night.
People who do find themselves the victim of theft may find that they compromise their car insurance policies, as cover firms could be reluctant to offer them cheap deals in the future.
Now police in the region are appealing to motorists to make sure they do not make their vehicles a tempting invitation to thieves.
This comes as Bedford officers have told motorists to stay secure if they leave their vehicles in beauty spots over the Easter period.
