Residents in Kettering have identified speed as a major issue on roads in the area, it has been reported.According to the Northants Evening Times, the local police force were approached and found The Oval, Garfield Street and Argyll Street to be regions of concern.
"We did some work with a hand-held speed monitoring device in Argyll Street, Garfield Street and The Oval and found the main issue was with inappropriate speed," said Sergeant Paul Wage, leader of the Kettering South team.
Now that the problem has been identified, it could be that people with car insurance policies in the area find that they pick up bigger bills, as cover firms could see the region as representative of a greater road risk.
