Eastleigh motorists have been told to allow for delays as Wells Place faces partial closure over the next three months, it has been reported.

Hampshire News states that the area parallel to the northern side of the Swan Centre will not be accessible from Southampton Road.

This is because officials in the area are starting building work on a new cinema complex, it adds.

However, it may be that car insurance customers in the region find that they are at greater risk of an accident if they are rerouted onto unfamiliar roads.

The news source comments that Wells Place will be open near to Market Street and High Street, in order for lorries to gain access to delivery areas.

Meanwhile, Mid Sussex Today reports that delays should be expected between the A272 and A273 tomorrow due to sewer maintenance work which will last for 24 hours.
