12 October 2007 Delays in store as road work hampers Warwickshire drivers

Warwickshire drivers face delays Road maintenance work in Warwickshire will leave a number of motorists facing serious delays to their journeys, according to a government body.

A resurfacing project on both carriageways of the A46 near the Temple Grafton and Redhill junction begins today, the Highways Agency (HA) has stated.

People planning to use the road over the weekend should be made aware that it will be closed over the weekend.

However, it may be that those who have to change their route risk their car insurance policies by chancing an accident driving through previously uncharted territory.

"Motorists are advised to plan their journeys, allow extra time and obey all signs and diversion routes," the HA said.

This comes as News Shopper has reported that Bexley drivers will also need to change their journeys to accommodate five days of road maintenance work from Monday October 22nd.
