Say yes to cheaper van, home and car insurance

A family in Missouri, USA, were left fearing for their lives after an angry neighbour smashed his truck through their front door.

Ali Jabar-Ansari is said to have intentionally driven the truck into the house, before threatening the family with a gun, reports First Coast News.

Police believe the actions of Mr Jabar-Ansari were the culmination of a long running dispute between his family and a neighbouring one.

It is said to have begun as a row between the two wives, but escalated and ended with one family claiming on their home insurance and fearing they might die.

Lieutenant Ken Stivers says Mr Jabar-Ansari got into his truck, drove through the family's front garden and in through the front door.

"He then entered the house with a firearm and put all the family together and threatened them with their lives," he adds.

He is said to have forced the family, including two children, to kneel down and threatened to kill each of them.

"We can only assume his true intentions were to cause harm. Some time during the incident he may have had a change of heart and he told the family to call 911 and then fled the residence," said Lieutenant Stivers.

Mr Jabar-Ansari has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault, armed burglary and battery.
